Brief explanation of Course/Seminar

TRADING ON THE EDGE COURSE DESCRIPTION Learning to "TRADE ON THE EDGE" begins with the materials you receive and consists of: "TRADING ON THE EDGE", a 10 chapter easy to understand training manual, PRACTICE MATERIALS including traditional paper trading materials and a PRACTICE C/D. The training manual teaches you the four trading methodologies; POSITION HOLDING, POSITION TRADING, SWING TRADING and DAY TRADING. Once you understand the methodologies you need to begin to practice so that you can demonstrate that you can successfully apply these tools and be consistently profitable. You learn to trade by trading. Experience is the best teacher. You begin your practice with traditional paper trading. In the back of the manual you will find one month of markets. Each chart has two days; yesterday on the left and today on the right. Two of the twelve edges that we work off of are the previous days high and the previous days low. After you cover today's portion of the chart, and as you slowly reveal the %91today's' chart movement you will see how these edges come into play, as you will with all of the other edges. Once you have finished trading this month in traditional paper trading style, then you are ready to move to the C/D. The first month on the C/D is the same month that you just completed paper trading. This will make it an easy transition to the C/D and particularly helpful to those students who do not have on-line trading experience. It will teach those students how to place orders and manage their trading and generally make sure that if they want to be long one, they are, and not short two. It's easy to manage your trading platform, but if you've not done it before, the C/D will teach you how. That, however, is not the main purpose of the C/D. The C/D provides you with the ability to get months and months of "almost real time" trading decision making experience in the shortest time possible. The C/D allows you to gain the experience of the one, two or three trading decisions that you might make in a trading session without having to sit thru an eight hour trading session. With the aid of the C/D you can cover an eight hour trading session in 1/2 an hour. You can fast forward when you are not near a trading decision and you can slow down into real time when making a trading decision. Once you can demonstrate consistent profitability in simulated time we will then take you to real time. This is when you need to be able to spend eight hours a day during market hours watching and trading in a simulated account that we will provide for you. Once you demonstrate consistent profitability in real time, then you are ready to place your trades in a funded account and that's when you will begin trading real money. When you demonstrate consistent profitability with real money, trading just one contract in one market, we will then move your numbers up and then we will move you into other markets. Your goal should be to trade multiple contracts in multiple markets. These materials coupled with your time, effort and energy, and following the Study Guide from beginning to end, lesson by lesson, step by step, will help you get there.
